HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Expectations and anticipation is at an all time high by fans and radio personnel for the new single released by one of Southern Gospel’s favorite families. 

The Glovers’ new single release, “Mercy Came Down”, has received an unprecedented amount of support from radio stations and fans alike.

Adam Glover of The Glovers said, “We can’t believe how much response we have gotten from this song in the short amount of time that the song has been out.  People are truly seeing the message behind this song.  It’s totally awesome to see how God can work through one song.”

“Mercy Came Down” was written by Del Way and is found on the group’s latest recording – One Good Reason. 

The lyrics for the touching song are as follows:  “From the bottom of desperate, no hope could be found.  When I had no answers, Mercy Came Down.”

The chorus says, “Mercy Came Down and cleansed all my sins.  The blood of the Lamb made me whole again.  I stand redeemed, His grace I found, all because mercy, Mercy Came Down.”

Kathy Glover expounded, “These words and the music composition really stir the souls of folks in all of our services.  We believe the Power of God will touch many hearts through this particular song.”

Adam continued, “This song is an incredibly worded picture of the deadly grasp of sin and God’s even stronger grip of mercy.”

“Mercy Came Down” was released to radio last month through Family Music Group.  The song can be found on Family Music Group Radio Compilation, Vol. 45 – cut #1.
